​Senior Nutrition Program

The Washtenaw County Nutrition Program provides home bound lunches every weekday. Congregate lunches are on pause until ​it is safe to meet again. Call 734-426-7737 to make reservations at least 48 hours in advance.

The Dexter Senior Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit which relies on membership fees, donations, and grants, as well as funding from the Helen McCalla Trust, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital-Chelsea, The Area Agency on Aging 1-B, Washtenaw Community College, the Dexter Community Fund, Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, Webster Township, Dexter Township, and the City of Dexter. Support is also provided by the Dexter Lion’s Club, Dexter Leo’s Club, and Busch’s of Dexter.
 
Our mission is to provide programs and services that enable individuals to remain an active and integral part of the community and to empower them to retain their independence, dignity, and sense of well-being.
